In 1994, there were 11 Europharm branches: Brașov, Bucharest, Buzău, Cluj, Constanța, Deva, Focșani, Iași, Ploiești, Slatina, Sibiu, which provided national coverage.

In the next period internationally, SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoWellcome merge, forming GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

The process of changing the visual identity of Europharm Distribution takes place in April 2004. In the same year, the company completed the procedures necessary for the certification of the internal quality management system ISO 9001 – 2008

Europharm Distribution reaches the 4th position in the top of the retailers’ market shared on Retail, achieving an increase in sales by pharmacies, by 52%, compared to the previous year. ISO 9001: 2008 Recertification of all warehouses in the country is taking place, following the SGS audit.

The opening of the logistics services warehouse in Chitila is the basis for a new stage of development of Europharm Holding as a provider of logistics services for major drug manufacturers in Romania.

Also in 2010 Europharm Holding was audited for ISO 9001: 2008 certification. Following the audit, warehouses in the country (Bucharest, Baia Mare, Brașov, Craiova, Constanța, Cluj, Galați, Sibiu, Iași, Suceava, Timişoara) were ISO 9001: 2008 certified.

After being taken over by Interbrands Marketing & Distribution, Europharm Distribution remains an independent company within the group.

A period of investments and transformations follows to ensure the growth and consolidation of the company’s position as a leader in the pharmaceutical market for Distribution and Logistics Services.

Europharm Distribution replaces the entire fleet of cars with hybrid vehicles, worth one million euros.

This is the year in which Europharm Distribution enters a new period of development. With a 100% Romanian capital and a turnover of over 185 million euros, Europharm Distribution is once again the preferred partner of large drug manufacturers.

Also during this period, the process of expansion and modernization of the Chitila Logistic Warehouse is completed, the warehouse area being expanded to 5,300 mp, and the storage capacity reaching approximately 10,000 pallets.

We start a new year by implementing and integrating the Financial-Accounting solution within Charisma ERP. The use of the Financial-Accounting module represents a new stage of digitalization and optimization of the accounting, financial and management processes of the fixed assets within the company.
